Hey Sickos/Spoonies/Terrestrials!
If you’re chronically ill, you’re welcome in this community. My goal is to share information so that we can help each other bc the medical industry is just letting us suffer. If you any of these conditions, you will find our tips & content interesting & (hopefully) helpful.
Tara’s Chronically Ill Tip:
If you are chronically ill, do you also often feel a gnawing sensation above your belly button that is very painful? If so, you most likely also have gastroparesis (which leads to delayed gastric emptying) & physical pain & nausea/vomiting.
Natural remedy (Directions): Take Celtic salt (use 1-3 pinches as needed until it resolves your pain &/or nausea.) It should work quickly. You can take a pinch multiple times a day if you continue to flare. If it doesn’t help your pain, consult your doctor again or go to the ER & ask for assistance.
(NOTE: I’m not a doctor or scientist. I’ve just been chronically ill for 26 years & Ive done a lot of medical research & I want to share information & solutions I’ve found along the way. But, do your own research & consult your doctor to make sure any natural remedies will interfere with any of your current medications.)
What is gastroparesis?
(Google AI)
Gastroparesis, also known as delayed gastric emptying, is a chronic disorder where the stomach takes too long to empty its contents into the small intestine. It happens when the stomach muscles and the vagus nerve—which controls normal digestive movements—are damaged, causing food to move slowly or stop moving altogether.
Common Symptoms
The delayed passage of food can cause several uncomfortable and disruptive symptoms, including: [1, 2]
- Feeling full very quickly after eating a small amount of food
- Nausea and vomiting (sometimes vomiting undigested food eaten hours prior)
- Abdominal PAIN and bloating
- Heartburn or acid reflux
- Unintended weight loss and malnutrition
Earlier this year, I was having a flare & it triggered the gastroparesis, as it usually does. My stomach started clenching & the pain radiated all over my body. I laid down, took a Pepcid AC & stretched & rolled around but none of my tricks were helping me to feel better. I was miserable. The pain was getting worse & I didn’t want to start vomiting.
I was feeling hopeless when I remembered I had just received the SaltStick sampler. Could the SaltStick help me with this pain? I was doubtful & took one tablet. Pretty quickly, both my pain & nausea eased. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked. I felt so grateful to finally be out of pain $ I didn’t have to fight anyone for help. The gnawing gastric pain disappeared almost immediately. Does everyone already know salt helps relieve pain but me?
I’ve been to many ERs & I’ve seen so many people suffering needlessly with gastric pain. It can be very debilitating. We beg for opioids bc they work. They get rid of the pain. We don’t need opioids if salt can help people. Why doesn’t the hospital offer us salt? Instead they give us medications that do not get rid of our pain & then send us home to just suffer until our pain stops.
I’m disabled & have had to cope with constant pain for over 2 decades. I’ve been in chronic gastric pain for over 26 years & no doctor has ever suggested trying salt as a natural remedy for gastric pain.
Big pharma has hidden so many natural remedies from the public. Why are they giving us harmful chemicals that don’t work when there are safer natural options that work great? We have to stop going to them for medical help. Big pharma & doctors are intentionally just treating our symptoms bc they make more money by keeping us sick. We need to learn how to heal ourselves naturally, without western medicine’s influence & control.
I’m just now learning about the healing properties of salt. I never knew salt could stop gastric pain. It was such an easy solution all along. If you’re chronically ill &/or taking Ozempic & suffering with gastroparesis, try a pinch of salt or a Saltstick tablet & see if it works for you & your pain.
Share this with any of your friends &/or family suffering from gastroparesis &/or gastric pain.
