She got more hysterical since she’s been there? Yeah, you idiot, her pain is escalating! They treat us all like drug-seeking liars EVERY TIME! Most of us chronically ill humans can’t get opioids & don’t go to the ER unless our pain is out of control & we need opioids. We’re not addicts. We’re suffering from chronic illness with no cure in sight. For many of us, our pain is constant. Once I waited 4 hours after I arrived at an empty ER in an ambulance. They got mad at me for crying & slammed my door closed. When my parents got there, their tone completely changed. One of them started calling me sweetie. They would only give me Tramdol & a 1/2 of a an Ativan & said that was all they could do. I arrived to the ER in pain & I left the ER in pain with no solution & no end in sight bc healthcare in America is broken.
