To begin with, just writing that headline felt embarrassing, but I’m in a bad situation & I need some help. For the record, I DIDNT HIT OR TOUCH ANY NURSE. I’VE NEVER CONDONED VIOLENCE. IF I HAD DONE IT, I WOULD DESERVE PUNISHMENT. But, I DIDNT do it.
(I also mistweeted. I meant innocent until proven guilty is gone but I tweeted the reverse. Ugh. Brain fog is real.)
Now, Maricopa County is trying to put me in jail for something that never happened & they have no evidence of. I never thought I would be in a position like this. I need help getting justice in Maricopa County’s corrupt courts so I made this video to help explain the situation. (Please see video above).
If you can help me legally, please let me know. I feel like they’re unjustly steamrolling over me bc BARROWS INSTITUTE wants to get me in trouble so I don’t take action against them.
If you were at BARROWS NEUROLOGICAL INSTITUTE ER ON 06/18/2024 & you saw a security guard assaulting a disabled female patient, that was me. They’re claiming I instigated the attack bc I attacked the head nurse, BUT I never attacked or touched any nurse.
This is what actually happened. The nurse refused me pain meds & I’m disabled & my pain is severe so I was frustrated. I didn’t need to be there anymore if they weren’t going to help me so I tried to leave. Before I could reach the hallway, a security guard grabbed me, knocked me off balance & fell on top of me with all his weight. My spine & head hit the floor & instantly I was in more pain. They called the police & I got arrested. It was awful but I knew I didn’t do anything so I really felt like people would eventually all watch the video & call to get me out of jail because I didn’t do anything. That never happened. For over a year, they’ve been treating me like I’m guilty & not accomodating my disability.
Today, the county attorney told the judge there NEVER was a security tape bc there was no camera there bc of patient privacy. Yep! These are lies. He flat out lied to the Judge & the judge didn’t even question him. The incident didn’t happen in a private area & there was a security camera, maybe even more than one. Even their security guard acknowledged there was a security camera in the room.
While we were waitinng for the police to finish their investigation, the security guard yelled at me, “We have it on tape so you are screwed!” And, I yelled back “Good it’ll prove my innocence & your guilt!” He stopped talking. I felt like the security tape would really solve everything.
But, when my public defender requested it, the hospital said it hadn’t been saved so they didn’t have it anymore. What? They never made a copy? They never sent it to the police? This is more proof of a coverup. They would never lose the security video footage if it proved I was guilty. They have wronged me in so many ways & they just keep getting away with it.
How do I fight back against such corruption at every level? I’m not sure, yet. Ideas are welcome. Today, I asked for a new public defender & the judge (of course) refused my request.
I’m disabled & the judge said they’ll accommodate me. But, when? No one asks me what’s wrong or what would help. I have a CSF leak & full spine damage & I have to be in court 6 hours a day for 3-5 days. It’s going to be hard & painful.
I look relatively normal so people always think I’m exaggerating my pain, but I’m not. I get disability. I have multiple CSF leaks, a TBI & full spine damage. I can walk short distances & sit for small periods of time, but I have to lay flat through most of the day or I get sick. The judge warned me if I couldn’t make it to court one day, they would just continue the trial without me. What? Do they understand CSF leaks & chronic illness? No, they think I’m guilty & treat me like a criminal. Before today, two other judges told me if I missed a day then they would send the police to come take me to jail. How is this understanding my disability & accomodating me? It’s not.
It’s a nightmare. My case is based on a false allegation. And, here are examples of the corruption I have encountered at every step of this ordeal.:
-First, of course, the security guard falsely accused me of hitting the nurse.
-Then, the nurse lied & corroborated his lie.
-The security guard & nurse both made up stories full of lies & the details don’t match.
-The police supervisor refused to hear my side of the story. He told me they would help me with my pain in jail, but that wasn’t true. No one accommodated my disability.
-The other 2 BARROWS ER security guards were the only “witnesses” the police officer questioned. Why not the 15-20 other patients that saw it happen? Were they not interviewed bc the police are helping the hospital cover up what really happened? I think that’s part of why the police never talked to anyone who actually saw what happened.
-They took me from BARROWS ER to the BANNER ER to get me checked out bc the police knew the security guard hurt me
-At BANNER HOSPITAL, they committed Medicaid fraud. They never got me out of pain. I was not the one calling the shots. I needed a MRI-L, but I was forced to get 2 CT SCANS instead. To make it worse, they charged me for 4 instead of 2 CT SCANS which is Medicaid fraud.
-BARROWS NEUROLOGICAL HOSPITAL also committed MEDICAID FRAUD on my account that day. They billed UNITED HEALTHCARE for a MRI-L they never did.
-I spent the night in jail laying on the floor (without any pain meds). They said they didn’t have cots. I need to lay flat to feel better so I layed on the floor. I told the police & the staff that I was disabled. They didn’t care.
-When I called the police to report my assault, the officer that answered refused to take my report. When I asked if I could speak with someone else, he told me nobody was going to take my report because THEY DONT ARREST INNOCENT PEOPLE.
-Are they all (Maricopa County lawyers, police, judges & hospitals) involved in a MEDICAID FRAUD RING? I think people should look into what’s happening. I reported the fraud to the MFCU- (Medicaid fraud control unit), but I never heard back from anyone.
My public defender avoids me like the plague & rarely does the things I ask her to do. I need someone to actually help me. I’m tired of fighting with her to help me. And, I don’t want to be represented by someone I can’t trust. She is never helpful & always has an excuse for why she can’t do anything. It feels like she’s intentionally not helping me. It’s frustrating. I’m innocent. Why isn’t anyone helping me? It feels pretty hopeless sometimes.
Today, I asked for a new public defender, but of course the judge refused my request. The county attorney was almost gleeful with how things went today because he’s not concerned with justice. He’s trying to punish someone he knows is innocent, and I don’t think this is his first time doing it. If this is happening to me, then they’ve done this to other people. I hope 1 of them finds their way to this page.
Today, the county attorney told the judge that the BARROWS ER HOSPITAL security tape never existed bc they don’t have a camera in that area.. He outright lied & the judge didn’t even question it. The “attorney” also (out of nowhere) told the judge that they DO NOT have my medical records.

None of us were talking about my medical records & he just announced this “fact” to us. I think this is another one of his lies. I know that the BARROWS NEUROLOGICAL INSTITUTE ER security guard handed the officer all of my medical records bc I read it in the Bodycam transcript. They did not have my consent. The police didn’t have a warrant or court order. What did the police officer do with my MEDICAL RECORDS? Why did he leave with my medical records but no security tape evidence? Why do security guards have access to our medical records, Barrows Neurological ER? Is it so they can learn about the Medicaid patients & decide which one will be their victim? I have so many questions still.
The whole situation is a mess. I just feel like it’s so clear that they’re lying & I didn’t do anything. The cops & lawyers & judges always treat me like I’m guilty & mentally ill. It’s taught me that both the MEDICAL & LEGAL SYSTEM in PHOENIX are corrupt & broken. I’m not sure how they (security guard, police officers & lawyers) can be so corrupt & still feel good about themselves, but they do. As a result, bad things are happening to innocent people in court rooms all over America.
So, I’m trying to fight back, but I’m not sure what to do next. Should I learn how to be a lawyer in 10 days? Any legal advice is welcome. Also, I think there were about 15-20 witnesss in the room & hallway that the police never questioned. If any of you were at the BARROWS ER on 06/18/24 and saw what happened, please let me know. I’d love to talk to you. Witnesses could help me prove my innocence but again why do I have to prove my innocence? Because the Phoenix legal system apparently thinks we’re all on trial bc we’re guilty. Can anyone get a fair trial in Maricopa County? I’m not sure, yet.
